For Old Times Sake

Chapmanville, Logan County, WV
Cemetery Inscriptions
.

This cemetery is located on a hill next to the Hilltop Motel on Route 10, and in the center of town.
The cemetery appears to be a combination of two small cemeteries, the larger of which could be called the Ferrell Cemetery, as several members from that family are buried there.
.
It is thought that portions of the motel are built over the cemetery, and there apparantly was an article written about the situation, in the Logan Banner.  It is believed that a local historical or genealocial group is, or was at one time, attempting to document all the burials.  This information was submitted by Carol Williamson.  If you have further information, please let us know!
